And since I saw the Descraced CL post a while ago with the wierd e-mail attached..
Let me just say it was like I said it would be a April Fools Joke.
A. I don't care
B. I was able to put two and two together
C. Why do people do this?
D. They shut the site down to make it look like something happened..
There are people on here who take things way too seriously. For one: Why would someone say they breeched the TOS on this site and not say what they did? Then fire a admin and not say what he did. Then fire all CLs involved and make them all come back to CL status? I get the joke but I'm wondering if anyone else has? Did I forget to mention the site was down this morning? Yawns, real mature but since April Fools is almost here well, I guess the joke is on us?
If you really wanna try and fool us, try not to make it look so obvious. Now I'll joke around with my staff and members on my site from time to time. But I'd never do something like that to either confuse, frustrate and anger people.
Thats all I'm going to say.

I forgot something...
The News File kept changing around. Normally you'll see the previous news on that file. But for some reason things were disapearing and something else was replaced with it. Like the CLs being booted - all three of them. The next update would erase that and put in Chris N's firing and the need for a new admin. And finally that was erased with the special "April Fools" announcment at 3PM tomorrow.... Yeah we all know it's going to be announced that all 3 CLs are back, and Chris was never fired......
Then I decided out of curiosity to look at all 3 CL profiles and noticed Mel is back from disabled and back to CL status, and the rest of the CLs have their jobs back. And Chris N's removal from the team was then removed and replaced about the premium membership status. Well not sure if his firing is true or not but I wouldn't believe anything especially with Apr. 1st coming in at midnight.
Can I say something? Alot of people seem pretty upset about this. They don't have to say it but I can sense alot of people in alarm mode. If this site is truly mature enough I'd have to say all of this should be on the "joke board". And I would never put my staff, community members or visitors on my website through that kind of immature game.
Yeah so it's all in fun and some might not take it like that. I can understand maybe doing this kind of thing to a smaller group of visitors but for a large member group like this on the zone, I'd do everything I could to make the site fun and entertaining without upsetting a good size group. Yeah some might get upset and will get over it eventually - but there are those who just think that maybe the admins or the cls were abusing their power.

*laughs* I can't believe this was posted. Yeah it was a joke. And a great one at that! I don't think any of it was overboard but then I enjoy a good joke played well. lol Until Chris got fired that is. That one was a bit too obvious. But then only because I remember Chris having told me himself that being Admin doesn't mean getting paid! *chuckles* So yeah. I'm going to admit that I fell for the whole Mel thing. I was more shocked than angered because she seemed like such a quiet CL who wouldn't have crossed any sort of lines. lol And I'm going to kill you Dan because talking with you over MSN made it more believable. hehehehe lol You're MSN tag made it all the more credulous too. hehehehe And this site wouldn't be the zone if people like us didn't get so worked up about things. Hence the zone drama pool. Oh yeah. And Scott, I really thought you were jealous of Dan for getting his CL status back. You were going on and on about Dan giving J. head... So to all the staff, great job and I hope next years' joke kicks ass as much as this one! heheheheh
